Bonnie Hodges' horse portraits are realistic artistic interpretations of the nobility of her equine subjects. Bonnie is able to capture the horses' personalities in sensitive renditions in various media, including oil, pastel, watercolor, even digital media. Many of the paintings were private commissions. Some have been displayed in art shows.
Victor had a very sad story. He was donated to the Houston Police Department. As he was being loaded onto the trailer to embark on his new career, he reared up and fell out of the trailer. He cracked his skull open and bled to death. The owner was very happy to have this beautiful portrait to remember him by.
